Asbestos Inspection
Asbestos is a dangerous mineral made up of tiny fibers that were added to a variety of products to strengthen them and to provide heat insulation and fire resistance. Many homes, businesses, and utilities were constructed using asbestos products for all or some parts of the project.
For this reason, many home and property owners are willing to inspect and test for its presence.
Core Environmental can provide you with a licensed inspector to perform an asbestos inspection. We take the initial steps in building inspections and find the type and materials that contain asbestos and take samples to provide a report with sample results and a plan of action when asbestos is found. Once the inspection is done the removal begins. Inspectors are to return to site to run a full post removal inspection. We are trained and certified to perform both Asbestos Testing and Asbestos Inspection throughout Eastern Massachusetts & the North Shore.
Steps to Asbestos Inspection:
- Prior to performing any asbestos inspection, first step is to collect samples. Once it is found it is necessary to run a full inspection for entire building.
- Workers put on protective suits and respirators and then enter the work area.
- Workers carefully remove the asbestos materials. All surfaces are vacuumed and wet wiped as a final clean.
- Once removal is completed inspectors return for a full post removal inspection.
